It was a sunny day and a little boy was, once again, lost. He thought he was stupid, getting lost so many times- he should be more careful. ‘Why am I alone?’ the boy kept asking himself as he walked along an unknown street in London. He was so stressed that he didn’t see the name of it and instead wondered when he’d be able to find his friends. He kept walking until he saw a boy that caught his eye. He looked a little bit taller than him and he transmitted a very safe and warm feeling, so the boy decided to walk up towards him. He didn’t care if he would sound stupid, he was lost and wanted help.

“Ah, sorry, are you from around here? I need some help…” the little boy asked shyly, his heart beating fast as he ashamed he had to talk to a stranger.
The boy looked at him in surprise, a look of recollection as he stood quiet for some seconds until he replied with a curious expression, “No, I’m not. But I know this place well! Where you do you need to go?”
“Oh, I’m not too sure… Do you know where I can find this hotel?” The little boy pointed to the map he was holding in his hand. He blushed as his heart sped fast- he was still very nervous.
The taller boy took the map from his hands and looked at it carefully, trying to figure out a safe and fast route to the hotel.
Whilst he was doing the smaller boy watched him fascination, wondering why he was getting such a nervous but happy feeling all of a sudden.
“Ah! I know a way to get there. But you’re a little far away, you still need to walk a lot.” Tapping at his chin, the older boy looked embarrassed as he asked, “Can I know your name?”
“Of course! I’m Colin!” The boy replied with a bright smile. “And you?”
The taller boy seemed very surprised, did he really know him?
“I’m Michael… but, is your name really Colin? I think I know you…”
Colin was surprised, how could he knew him if he didn’t recognise the taller boy? If he had talked to him before he would remember!
“Really? From where? Sorry…I don’t really think I know you!”
“Oh, I’m not sure, it can be just coincidence… but I think I know you from tumblr? Sorry if I’m wrong!” The taller boy was a little bit embarrassed with this too.
“From tumblr??  Then…you’re hyung?” – Colin was so excited, he couldn’t believe, was he really talking with his hyung?
“Omg, you really are Colin! Yes, I’m Michael-hyung!” – The older boy replied with a bright smile.
Colin was too excited, from the fear he felt earlier and with excitement he was feeling for being with his hyung he couldn’t control himself so he just hugged Michael as tight as he could, it was something that he always wanted to do and now that the boy was next to him he finally could do it! He was hugging him tight until he finally realized what he was doing.
“I’m so sorry, I was just excited, sorry, sorry!” – The boy was so embarrassed he just got too excited and he couldn’t contain the urge to hug his hyung.
The other boy just smiled and gave him a tight hug – “It’s okay, you can hug me Colin! This is very weird! But I’m really glad we could met!”
The smaller boy was really happy, he didn’t care he was lost anymore, he was safe now, because he was with his hyung, he thought while he hugged the other boy back.
“Oh, hyung, happy birthday! I guess this can be my present!”
The older boy just smiled and said:
“Even in real life you’re too cute Colin, of course it can be, thank you!”
Michael was all Colin ever imagined him to be, a calm and caring hyung. He was happy that he could be with him, but after a while he started thinking that he should give him something more. For all the good things he did before for Colin in the past, he deserved a good present!
“Hyung, I think I should give you something else! Are you going to stay here all day? We can go eat in some restaurant, I’ll pay!”
The older boy was surprised, he wanted to stay more time with the little boy, but he didn’t want him to pay for his food on their first time together!
“It’s okay Colin, you don’t need to! I’m going to stay here all week, when are you going away? We should go out together” - the boy said it as he ruffled the little boy’s hair.
“Ah, but I want too!” – The boy made a mad pout which made Michael smile– “But we really should be together while we can! I don’t have a phone now! Can you write your number in the map?”
“Of course, say something later Colin! – The older boy smiled and started writing his number on the map – Do you want me to take you to that hotel? I’m free now”
The little boy smiled and nodded as they started to walk to the hotel. It was a long walk that allowed them to talk to each other a lot and to loose the awkwardness that was still around them. It was very hard at the beginning, they didn’t know what to say and they were both feeling equally shy. However, once they started talking more it became extremely fun. Neither of them wanted to go; not so fast and soon. Michael had to go to his birthday party and Colin had to tell his friends why he had been missing.
“Hyung, see you tomorrow, have fun!” – Colin said while giving a tight hug to his hyung.
“Thank you, it was very fun being with you today, you are a good kid!” – They both laughed when Michael said it. None of them wanted to go, not so fast, not so soon, but Michael had to go to his birthday party, and Colin had to tell his friends why he has been messing.- “ Ah, I have to go. Bye Colin”
Colin felt sadness stuck in his heart when they gave their last hug -“see you tomorrow”- this made all the sadness go away and it was replaced by anxiety and happiness. The little boy waved and waited to see the taller boy leave as he got into the hotel.
Everyone was very worried with him, he felt so bad for making them worry. After he told them all the reason on his absence they understood and, of course, were happy for Colin- because he was happy.
That night Colin and Michael talked a lot, until very late hours in the morning. - “Hyung, tomorrow let’s have fun doing those things you said, I hope you have fun with me! Sleep well, I love you” – was the last message Colin sent to the older boy, and Michael was the last thing Colin had in mind before falling asleep.
