“Are you old enough to have that?” Michael raised one eyebrow as he stared up at Taemin, watching the elder boy motion his head towards the alcohol Michael was holding in his hand. He shrugged.
“The legal age in England for drinking is 18.”
“You’re not in England.”
Michael smirked and gulped back the drink before Taemin could stop him, coughing slightly when he realised it tasted so much different from the alcohol back at home.
Taemin giggled slightly at the sight of Michael’s eyes watering and handed him a can of coke. “Stick to the soft stuff for now, kiddo.”
“I’m not a kid.”
“Ah, yes of course!” Taemin couldn’t help but chortle as the boy next to him scowled so cutely, his eyes crinkling up and his lower lip pouting out. He’s so cute and adorable!~
He was ruffling Michael’s hair affectionately when Eunhyuk announced they would all be playing a game. It was a mix-up between truth or dare, spin the bottle and seven minutes in heaven. Which, upon hearing the news, Michael wasn’t too keen on. He shuffled about, never leaving Taemin’s side as everyone sat in one large circle.
“Okay, who’s up first?” Donghae, Mike had to hold back a fanboyish scream, smirked, his eyes glancing around the circle until they dropped onto the nervous looking boy sat next to SHINee’s maknae.
“How about.. we do newcomers first?” As a chorus of agreements filled the room, Michael’s body began to grow stiff, his hands becoming wet and clammy as he lowered his gaze to the floor, his cheeks burning with embarrassment.
“Go on Mikey-ah.” A finger prodded his kneecap, and he followed the finger until he was faced with Taemin. I don’t want to… He tried to send his thoughts to Taemin telepathically, but he didn’t seem to pick up the message as he all but dragged Michael to the centre of the circle.
He stood there awkwardly, one foot gently lodged onto the other, as he tried to focus on what Donghae was saying.
“Okay, since you’re not familiar with how we play this… you have to go into a room, with the lights off. And we’ll send up the person who the bottle lands on next. BUT. You, Michael, need to drink up some alcohol so you’re more relaxed. What you won’t know is what the person will be doing, which is what will be decided down here. And we’ll be able to watch with the secret camera. Got that?”
Michael shook his head, his mouth slightly open.
“Great! Okay, can we get some alcohol?”
“Wait can I just-“
Donghae ignored him as he passed the boy a drink, nodding for him to drink it. Michael let out a small sigh and glanced towards Taemin, his small nod giving him a slight boost of confidence.
“Okay then…” He closed his eyes and let the alcohol pass into his system. Before he knew it he had been pushed upstairs into a room that was so dark he walked into something and landed onto the floor.
5 minutes passed; Michael had rolled onto his back and was just staring up into the dark, trying to breath calmly. Shouldn’t someone be up here by now? What if it had all been some stupid joke? And they’d all ran away and left him slightly intoxicated in a dark room?!
“Hello?” Mumbling to himself he tried to sit up and find his way around the room, but it seemed to be going disastrous as his head hit something hard.
“T-taemin?” He gulped and tried to calm down his breathing, fumbling around in his pocket for his phone. After putting on the camera light he realised he seemed to be in a sort of cleaning cupboard.
He was starting to get anxious now, when the door wouldn’t open panic started to course throughout his body. Banging on the door with his fist, he tried to yell out, but his voice seemed strangled from the strong alcohol. “H-hello?” He sank down and leaned against the door, worry creeping over him as he closed his eyes.
